A Guide to Connecting with Your Angels
written by Greg Campisi

Angel is the story of a broken family, who has lost their faith, working through hardship, and praying for things to change.

Wendi and Pete are barely holding onto their marriage and family as they cope with a recent move and tragedy. Bobby, their 11-year-old son, is angry, acting out, and being bullied at school. Faith, their 5-year-old daughter, hasn’t said a word since the move, except to her invisible friend. With the guidance of an unexpected friend at work, Wendi sends out a prayer for help. As she follows the signs, she comes to terms with her newfound faith and the notion that she and her family are being watched over and protected by a Guardian Angel. The story recounts their journey, the miracles that followed, and how her family finds their way back to forgiveness, love, and each other.

Angel is about believing… believing in something greater than ourselves, having faith in the unseen, and believing God has never left us alone in our struggles. Angels are always with us – guiding and protecting. We only need to ask for their help, and it is given.

While the book is fictional, it’s based on real stories about angels sending signs, guiding, protecting, and even saving people’s lives. The back section of the book includes a short, practical guide to connecting with your angels, based on Greg’s knowledge and experiences.

Angel is Greg’s first novel, originally drafted in 2009 as a 333-page manuscript. Although he knew the story needed to be rewritten, life called him in a different direction—first to launch his nonprofit, AWAKEN, and then to focus on raising a family. The book was set aside, waiting for the right moment.

Years later, after publishing his first children’s book, The Good Pirate, Greg felt a renewed creative spark. That inspiration led him back to Angel, where he began a more powerful and moving rewrite of the story. Committed to bringing it to life in a polished form, it was publicly released on 11/11/2022.
